Yes you can. But for maximum functionality and efficiency, we recommend using the timer with the Drills mobile app. They sync easily via Bluetooth.

Even if you have not ordered the timer device yet, you can enjoy various features of the mobile application such as dry practice, shooting practice stages and challenges creation and in App electronic timer that is available in iOS application. Also, you can use another timer and add your results manually.
The timer captures the shots of all calibers and all weapon types, including handguns, carabines, rifles, sniper rifles, shotguns, airsoft guns and traumatic weapons.
SG Timers connect to PractiScore Log app.
SG Timer picks up the sound and compiles detailed exercise stats. Knowing this data, you can see your weaknesses and work on them.

Our professional shot timers have a shot sensor with a piezoelectric element. It detects the sound of gunfire or the vibration from the firearm to accurately measure the time between shots. The accuracy of the shot sensor is much higher than that of any mobile device or regular microphone.
