Stability & Muzzle Tracker

Stability mode indicates how still your rifle is. It measures the movement and vibrations in your rifle in the unit measurements you selected, and indicates when the rifle is stable enough to take a shot.

For example you know that 2 MOA is an acceptable level of rifle wobble for taking a shot. If you configure the green zone of the stability mode to 2 MOA, the LEDs will turn green when you stabilize the rifle enough so the movement doesn’t exceed 2 MOA.
You may also configure the yellow zone for less demanding shots.

To configure the Green and Yellow zone stability limits, go to Settings – Level Limits. Or to Device – Settings – Stability zone in the Drills app.

You may also change the units, in which the stability is measured.

The line in the middle of the screen is a trace of your muzzle.

It precisely records every movement of your rifle, allowing you to analyze your recoil.

Pulse pro doesn’t record this data all the time. To activate it, you need to start the session, and the Pulse should be able to capture shots.

To start a shooting session go into any mode and press SELECT. Pulse Pro will record the movement of your barrel before and after the shot, as well as exact stability readout when the shot was taken.

To access this data, connect the Pulse Pro to the Drills app, wait for synchronization and go to Activity tab. Select any shot in a session to get full data.

The animation represents your rifle movement. The circle is a stability indicator, the yellow trace is barrel movement before the shot and the red trace – right after. Above are horizontal and vertical angles and exact stability readout during trigger press.

To learn how shooting sessions and shot detection work, go to Shooting Sessions and Data Logging.

SG Pulse Pro doesn’t require live connection to the app to record the data.
